Rare Beauty, Selena Gomez’s clean and sustainable make-up brand, encourages customers to be more thoughtful about their skincare routine and the environmental impact of the products they purchase.

Rare Beauty shipping box opened

Upon opening the box, there are positive affirmations such as “You are Rare” on the inside panel, highlighting the brand’s belief of self-love. A message at the bottom of the panel educates customers of their eco-conscious shipping practices, stating that all materials are “100% recyclable.”

Rare Beauty product packaging

Every piece of packaging from Rare Beauty is recyclable, from the shipping box and the tape made from recycled fiber, to the protective foam inside that’s made from corn and is compostable or dissolvable in water.

Each product is individually packaged in recyclable boxes. Rare Beauty’s Sustainability page details more about their carefully crafted and thoroughly tested formula in addition to their packaging standards and practices.
