Dagne Dover is a women-founded functional accessories company that makes problem-solving bags to help people stay organized and look good while doing it. The company makes thoughtful bags and organizational accessories: Their baby bags are among the best sellers.

To highlight their collections, Dagne Dover uses their emails to deliver a version of their product detail page right into users’ inboxes.

Emails are transparent about their products, showcasing the features and functions of their products.

The email imagery shows customers a breakdown of product features, including each compartment, accessory, and full functionality of the bags. The breakdown lets users see the full product without having to browse the website, but the emails also make it very easy once the user is ready to.

Dagne Dover also sends automated cart/checkout abandonment emails, which get triggered when visitors add to their cart without following through to purchase.

The bag brand makes a fun play on the in-store experience by calling out via email to ‘window shoppers’ who haven’t yet made the commitment, and the emails help keep Dagne Dover at top of mind with a little ‘nudge’ to pick up where they left off in their online shopping experience.
