Chamberlain Coffee, a LA-based coffee and drink company made for a Gen Z audience, uses their flavor product finder to connect customers to the perfect cup of coffee.
The quiz starts by asking users how they brew their coffee, what type of person they are, and when they prefer to drink their coffee.
They go deeper about the user’s preferences, asking how they like their coffee prepared; Black, some cream, fancy, ice cold etc. The quiz then asks for details around how they prefer their roast and what caffeine content they prefer.
To keep users encouraged to complete the quiz there is a persistent ‘10% off your next order’ promotion for completing the quiz and a progress bar at the top of the quiz.
Before customers get to the results page, Chamberlain Coffee asks them for their email. This is not a blocker for them to see their results, as they offer a subtle 'Skip' button under the email subscribe button.
The quiz results page outlines why the coffee is perfect for the user based on their answers, including the caffeine level, taste notes, and roast color. Chamberlain Coffee also provides an 10% off incentive for completing the quiz and signing up for email which encourages customers to add the product right to cart. If they want to learn more about the product before purchasing, they can click on the 'View Product' button which takes them to the product's detail page.
