Skincare with a Purpose: How Glow Recipe Boosts Conversion & AOV with their Mini-Cart
Biossance makes clean beauty products that deliver youthful, glowing skin with award-winning, anti-aging, vegan skin care formula. They leverage their loyalty program to increase their customers Life Time Value (LTV) and incentivize customers to continue to buy more.
Before a customer has signed up for an account, they can view the benefits of the rewards program on the Clean Crew landing page. The page outlines how to redeem points, ways to earn points, the two tiered system (Insider vs VIP), and how many rewards points each product is worth.
Biossance celebrates their rewards member’s birthdays by giving them 25 points on the day. They also give customers points for signing up for emails.
To answer specific rewards questions, Biossance surfaces those FAQs at the bottom of the page. These FAQs cover questions like if a customer can redeem a purchase if they buy in retail, and if they will lose their tier status if they do not spend enough.
If a customer is logged into their account, they are greeted with a personalized welcome message in their rewards portal. In their viewport when they land on this page, their points are clearly displayed as is their progress to the next tier.
Customers can easily redeem points for products right within their loyalty program. There is a convenient progress bar that indicates how close the customer is to unlocking that product for purchase.
When a Biossance and Clean Crew loyalty member checks out, there is a loyalty module in their checkout screen that confirms how many points they earned from their purchase. The 'See Rewards' button takes them to their rewards account dashboard so they can see what they are eligible to purchase with their rewards.
When a customer signs up for the Clean Crew, they are sent an email welcoming them to the program and touching on the key points from the landing page. At the top of the email, Biossance confirms that they have successfully signed up for the rewards program, and promotes their first perk $25 off and a free 7 piece gift set when they earn up to 200 points.
While the email has beautiful images in it, all of their codes are live text and easily copied to their phone or computer’s clipboard for easy pasting when checking out. There is a personalized module at the bottom of the email with recommended products as well to keep the email relevant for the customer.
