Chamberlain Coffee pushes subscriptions through clear benefits called out at the top of the product detail page. On top of each Quantity button, they outline how much of a discount the customer will receive when they subscribe to more product. Ontop of the ‘subscribe’ button, there are Free Shipping and Most Popular badges called out in yellow for extra emphasis.
If customers still isn’t sure, they offer additional subscription information in a pop-up to call out the benefits such as VIP customer service, promotions and special offers, and easy subscription management.
Once a customer purchases and subscribes, their subscription can be easily managed through their subscription account dashboard. Subscribers can edit their subscription frequency, quantity, and add on one-time purchases.
The company connects with their subscribers through their SMS program providing updates on their subscription, ordering etc. Chamberlain Coffee also sends customers a tracking link and a customer service email if they have any questions.
When a user wants to cancel their subscription, Chamberlain Coffee uses this as an opportunity to remind customers the benefits of subscription, offers them an option to skip their next order, and asks for feedback about why they want to cancel. If the subscriber selects ‘too expensive’ they offer a discount code for the next month’s subscription.
